Today was our last full day in Guangzhou. Zoie and I went and did a little shopping looking for a few little odds and ends. There are some pretty funny statues around Shamian Island. I tried to get Zoie to tag-a-long or even get in between but she wasn't having it.
I'm so excited to be leaving for home. We leave tomorrow evening and fly out to Hong Kong for very short night then back home to the good ol' USA. Can't wait to see family and friends. I miss everyone so much! I'm so grateful for this journey in bringing Zoie home. It is so fun to get to know her more and more each day. She is so sweet and adorable and such a happy blessing. I've met so many families adopting here and its been fun to talk to them and see their little blessings also. Thanks to all of you who have followed along on our journey for all your love and support. For all the comments and emails you have no idea how much I appreciate and love them. Special thanks to Jessica for posting all the pictures and text to my blog since I haven't been able to. Thanks Jess Love you!!
Tomorrow is red couch photo day so I'll try to post pictures before we leave or at least email them. So stay tuned for some cute photos....

You and Zoie will be in my prayers as you get ready for your trip home. I have so enjoyed following your blog! This part of the journey is coming to a close, but really, it is just the beginning of so much more!

ReplyDeleteWe are all so excited to see Zoie. I'm glad that you have had this time together. I can't wait each day to read about your journey - soon we will be able to follow the journey close at hand and in person. You both will be in my prayers also as you travel home. Be safe! and Belated happy Birthday. We'll all celebrate when you get home. Jess has done a great job and I know she has enjoyed it. Will look forward to the cute pictures tomorrow!
